Oticon Donates $10K to National Breast Cancer Coalition

Oticon celebrated the success of the 10th annual “Hearing in Pink” campaign with a $10,000 donation to the National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC), Oticon announced. Oticon President Gary Rosenblum joined with Oticon employees to present the donation to NBCC Board Member Joy Simha that will help to raise research funds. Oticon donated a portion of all sales of the special edition pink Oticon Opn™ and all Oticon Opn hearing aids to NBCC to help find a cure for a disease that represents one of every three cancers diagnosed in women.

Key to the success of the Hear in Pink campaign was the support of hearing care professionals across the country, who joined in sharing messages about hearing health and breast cancer awareness with their patients and communities during breast cancer awareness month.

“Through their support of the Hear in Pink campaign, hearing care professionals made valuable contributions to the health and wellness of their communities and at the same time, built practice visibility and loyalty,” said Oticon Vice President of Marketing Sheena Oliver, AuD.

Oticon employees added their “hands-on” support to raising breast cancer awareness. Dozens of Oticon volunteers carrying “Hear in Pink” banners made every step count at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in NYC Central Park.
