Theater Group for Hearing Impaired Children Featured on ‘CNN Heroes’

The No Limits Theater Group, Culver City, Calif, a program that involves deaf and hard-of-hearing children in plays written specifically for them, was featured on CNN Heroes,a TV program to spotlight people making a difference in their communities.

The program, created by Michelle Christie in 1997, has produced 100 plays in 13 states and reached more than 200,000 people across the United States, according to an article on the CNN website. The Theater Group is part of the No Limits for Deaf Children and Families organization, which provides free programs for children with hearing loss.
